Sandrine Blondel est née en 1964.
Elle obtient en 1987 à Paris son diplôme de l’ESAG / MET DE PENNINGHEN et exerce en parallèle de nombreuses années le métier de Directrice artistique et en parallèle dans son atelier de peinture.
Depuis une vingtaine d'années elle se consacre maintenant uniquement à la peinture dans ses ateliers en France et dans les Pouilles.
Le paysage, l'architecture et la mécanique sont la base de son travail et de ses compositions. Elle navigue entre deux forces complémentaires :
"urbain et mécanique" contre "rêverie et carnets de voyages »...
Le thème urbain est traité au travers de perspectives dynamiques et vibrantes sur aluminium : ce choix de support permet d'exprimer une totale osmose support/sujet.
Ce plaisir de peindre tuyaux et rouages l’amène à plonger dans le monde des moteurs de voitures de collection : Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce...
Elle participe à des salons prestigieux tels que Rétromobile, Essen, Goodwood, Pebble Beach en Californie...
Son travail a été publié dans le magasine des passionnés Porsche "CRISTOPHORUS".
Par besoin d’équilibre et de complémentarité elle a démarré il y a quelques années son thème "Carnets de voyages" traité sur toile de lin.
Il s’inspire de l’architecture baroque et de la lumière très particulière des Pouilles.
Cette série est née d'un désir de renouer avec ses racines italiennes ce qui a mené à la création en 2017 son deuxième atelier dans les Pouilles.

At the same time as a tribute to her Italian roots, she recently installed a second workshop in Puglia in order to explore the particular light of this region, still inspired by the theme of the landscape in its "classic" dimension.
Born in Paris in 1964.
Since the age of 10 she went on with her studies in the outskirts of Paris while travelling to Africa 3 months a year, where her mother drove Land Rovers as a specialized tours guide in deserts crossings.
These thousands of miles on trails with her mother herald her fascination for motor engines and machineries.
She graduates from ESAG/MET DE PENNINGHEN in Paris in 1987 in the Graphic Arts section and moves to Abidjan – Ivory Coast to work as an Artistic Manager in an advertising agency, then comes back to France where she works as a free lance Artistic Director and painter. Since year 2000 she has been devoting herself solely to painting in her painter workshop/studio in the outskirts of Paris, and in the south of Italy, in Puglia.
